My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was great, near the lake and easy to find, making it a perfect home base for our excursions. The rooms, although designed for privacy, had lukewarm water issues and strange noises that disrupted my sleep. The dining was decent overall, with tasty options but a sighting of a roach in the bathroom left a bad impression. The service, apart from a few friendly associates, felt distant and unwelcoming due to prepackaged items and stand-offish behavior.
The hotel had a decent view from the rooms, but cleanliness was a major issue, with a persistent foul smell in the bathroom throughout our stay. The beds were comfortable, although the base was unstable. The location just outside Dallas was ideal for our excursions.
I really liked the hotel for its convenient location just outside of Dallas, making it easy to find and a perfect 'homebase' for our day of excursions. The rooms were designed in a way that my wife and I never ran into each other while moving around. However, I was a bit disappointed about the lukewarm water and the loud clicking noises that disturbed my sleep thinking someone was trying to enter the room.
